It remains to be seen whether state governors and health bureaucrats will comply with the recommendations. For the moment the separate treatment protocols recommended by India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) continue to include ivermectin. As such, many doctors are likely to continue prescribing the medicine.

Hopefully the good guys will hang in there and resist the pressure to drop an effective treatment.

•There appears to be a discrepancy between these two articles. In one it states they are against ivermectin and in his most recent article they censor Dr. Soumya. It would be interesting to find out if India is either for or against ivermectin.
