I was sick at home one day, and was posting my disagreement to the daily Rush thread. He was responding over the air to the point were some posters mentioned it to me in the thread.

The subject being discussed was the special House election in upstate New York for CD-26 on May 24, 2011. This was a D pick-up of a seat that was historically Republican since 1857, with Democrats holding it only in 1945-47, 1949-53, 1972-73, and then 1993-2003.

Limbaugh admitted on-air that he didn't know about this race and that it caught him by surprise.

What made this race notable was that it was the next special election in upstate New York after the infamous DeDe Scozzafava special election for the NY-23 seat in 2009. In that race, Scozzafava was a closet liberal running as a Republican who got an endorsement from New Gingrich (who later admitted he didn't know her). When Scozzafava began falling in the polls, she dropped out of the race and endorsed the Democrat, who won 48.3%-46.0%.

This exchange showed me that the Limbaugh team did read the daily show threads.

To be real honest, I think there was a time when he might have read here at FR. The Board has way too many of it’s share of flakes these days to be of much importance to folks at Hannity’s level.

All things in life change with time and usually over time things begin to deteriorate.

There was a time when many pundits frequented the Board and they were Grand times.

P.S. And yes I am still a Dollar a Day contributer.

Hannity is for conservatives that need training wheels. He’s always repeating himself, and trying to score and emphasize bit sized hits against liberals.

When I happen upon hannity, I’m reminded he’s trying to explain how evil the Democrats are, a bit at a time, to my 95 year old granny!

I had noticed that too and turned on Fox last night to see what he looked like. I think he looked fine but his voice has been quite iffy for a while now. I hope he is ok....
