Please confirm that you support those real men getting at least joint custody by default.
Sure, by default.
But there are special circumstances, like abuse (same goes for the mom).
But assuming both parents are relatively sane, they should have joint custody.
But if the mom is doing him wrong, he can't take it put on his kids, either - leave them out of it.
Anecdotally, over the years I have seen many more dead-beat dads than lousy moms. A LOT more.
