Perhaps you want to look up the actual legal definition of malpractice before wielding such a charge...
Notwithstanding, there is nothing new under the sun and since day one anyone with a basic understanding of biology would know that once recovered from CoVI-2, you dont need the vaccination.
although it did need to be prove. how long the natural immunity would last or if it would need to be boosted. So far so good
Thanks folks for your replies.
Been asking for a while and getting confusing responses (even from those who knew the difference between antigen and antibody tests).
“Need to know” info IMO.
And remember... “a steady increase in cumulative incidence among previously uninfected subjects who remained unvaccinated.”
The definition of malpractice is anything a lawyer determines it is. Also, if after this report from the Cleveland Clinic a practitioner fails to ask a patient (a vaccine is a medical procedure) before a vaccination if they’ve recovered from C19, then they’re at risk. But hey, it’s your license, do what you want.
No it won’t. It may make you more symptomatic than otherwise but it won’t kill you. I know plenty of people who had the disease then got the vaccination. They are all alive and kicking
I'm afraid they're going to wreck the natural immunity system of children with their "experimental" vaccine.
They should be tested to see if they have antibodies.
No matter what Fauci says, we are NOT smarter than Mother Nature and/or God.

“Also, if after this report from the Cleveland Clinic a practitioner fails to ask a patient (a vaccine is a medical procedure) before a vaccination if they’ve recovered from C19, then they’re at risk.”
Why after this study? Since all medical personnel have training in basic biology they should not this need this study. If any suggested a person take an experimental vaccine when they did not need it that us clearly malpractice.
Thanks for posting that info!
You had no symptoms? You must have been pretty surprised when you got the test results!
You are incorrect about the definition of malpractice, which is the fundamental problem with wielding threats when you do not know of what you speak.
And as I said, there is no need to vaccinate the recovered.
And should a practitioner administer an unnecessary medical procedure, one which is known to cause adverse reactions as documented by the FDA, said practitioner is in jeopardy of committing malpractice.
For the previously infected getting a shot means “super” protection- but how much protection does one really need?

Yet “a steady increase in cumulative incidence among previously uninfected subjects who remained unvaccinated.”
Thanks a billion.
And thank you too.
What’s so great about this is Cleveland Clinic has an extremely high level of credibility (full disclosure, I work for them). And the consequence of this is that it will be extremely difficult for employers or businesses to require vaccination. Anyone who wishes not to take it can claim to have had the illness, I would say in the early days, and it becomes nearly impossible to challenge it. Now you have SCIENCEtm to back you up.
Cheers man!
i’m not sure super protection exists. Immune is immune
Yeah, to echo Mom MD, no test is 100% Yes it SHOULD trigger even if you had COVID-19 up to a year ago, but it’s also possible for your antibody count to be below the testing threshold for various reasons. It’s very unlikely to go the other direction, where it comes back positive mistakenly. This type of test is very specific in what will trigger it.
The tests usually aren’t too expensive for the basic ones (I’ve seen pricing ranging from $20 - $50 for most). If you’re curious whether you’ve had it before, it can certainly be worthwhile to check.

And are the $17 LabCorp antibody tests the same as what the Red Cross does, prior to donating blood?
Actually, with vaccination, the typical default stance from pretty much anywhere in the medical community is going to be “better safe than sorry”. In other words, unless there is solid, definitive evidence against vaccinating someone who’s had COVID-19 previously, the default answer is going to be to go ahead and do it, particularly for those who had mild or asymptomatic COVID-19.
I would argue that given the evidence coming from Brazil and South Africa on reinfection with certain variants, it may still be beneficial to keep vaccines available to those who had mild or asymptomatic COVID-19. Particularly when the new “boosters” (which aren’t boosters since they’re targeting a slightly modified antigen) become available.
Agree...People from all over the globe, including members of my family, have benefited from CC's expertise. Here is another recent, interesting news release from that organization.
