DeSantis has an unmistakable political glow about him. Whether being treated like a star performer at a massive country music jam in Florida or being one of the top people on Donald Trump’s radar should Trump win again, people like what they see.
On Sunday, Florida held the largest music festival in America since February 2020. The Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam, in Panama City Beach, saw more than 20,000 people gather together for the three-day country music festival. Big stars were appearing: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Stapleton…and Ron DeSantis. Yup, DeSantis dropped by for a quick visit and got the same star treatment as the named performers:

The rise of Ron DeSantis is all the more put into sharp focus because of the tide of mediocrity that lies elsewhere. At all sides, there are those who are surrendering to the blandishments and promises of the Left, who never intend to honor the commitments they are so blithely making and which apparently look so appealing. Free energy from the sun and wind, and no working? Such a deal, and we only have to get the nay-sayers out of the way.
Rainbows and unicorn droppings go only so far, which is just about nowhere at all.
Dystopia beckons. And it will be here before you know it.

I can tell DeSantis is doing well because virtually the ONLY time I see the local Miami media do a story on him is to bash him.
His popular positions on Big Tech, China, COVID, etc. are ignored. His presence at the music festival/concert was completely ignored by a Miami media that loves to focus on “the arts”. I guaran-damn-tee you if Willie Brown’s mistress spoke at a music festival in Florida, the Miami media would talk about it constantly.

I’ve met a handful of NYS transplants down here. They SEEM to lean to the right. I’m genuinely concerned Florida is going to turn into South New York politically.
