Worth noting that in 1945, the Brits kicked Churchill out and voted for Socialism.

World War III came right on the heels of World War II. As our former ally the Soviet union became our enemy as they went on global conquest.

And they had friendly agents within our own government academia etc. who provided aid and comfort.

Patton had the right idea at the end of ww2. Soviet Union should have been immediately defeated next.

MacArthur had the right idea about defeating the CCP in Korea and mainland Chinap.

Both Communist camps should have been curb stomped asap.

Millions of lives and dollars would have been saved.
