I assume you're speaking to Windows users as a group, not me in particular. My current machines (both personal and work) are Macs, with both Linux and Win10 running on them as VMs, so that I have all three environments on the same computer. The Win10 VMs are for those few applications that require Windows, or which run better on Windows than the other OSes.

At present, my dayjob requires that I have Win10 available (in addition to the other two). On my personal machine, there are only two applications I run Win10 for: an MP3 tag manager, and a graphics program. Were it not for those I probably wouldn't bother with the Win10 VM.

I tolerate Microsoft's crap, but it's only about 3% of my computing time, so it's quite tolerable.

Yes you got the context correct.

I have nothing that is windows 10. Never will.

Have you tried 'easytag'? I've been using that with Linux for years. Works pretty well IMO.
