Although I do find it unlikely that this indeed happened as you seem to think as it’s not a common scenario.
So, more likely - not EVERYONE was wearing N95s, 100% of the time. Or they made basic errors in their use (touching the mask and then touching their nose, mouth, etc).

Look at a drywaller wearing one, and how much dust gets in, and those particles are extremely larger than the virus. Or better yet, go hide behind a three strand electric fence and I’ll shoot at you with a .22 and see if you get hit. By your logic, you’re perfectly safe.
