Geez...another one. It's quite something to see the stars from your parents era dying (all dead now) but when it comes to your own era...geez.
He played the typical angry black on Mod Squad although I loved that show when I was a kid. I really enjoyed the Mystery Woman series on Hallmark. iirc, Michael Cole made a guest appearance on one of the shows.
May he RIP

The redux of twin peaks had the girl as a Cafe owner and she apparently got Clarence a bit part in that show.
Mod Squad was a great show.

Great show. I still think Peggy Lipton remains one of the most beautiful actors. I was sad when she died. RIP, Clarence.

They left out his role in “I’m Gonna Got You Sucka!”
Hilarious. Of course, these days the Wayans brothers wouldn’t even be allowed to make such a movie, making fun of everyone.
Anyway Clarence was excellent. His sense of humor carried the day for him.

Even when an actor is an a long running, popular series, that doesn’t mean he will keep being top drawer famous forever.
I think that was likely the best and most lucrative role Clarence ever got. He was perfectly cast.
To: BenLurkin
Anyone that watches Hallmark will remember him from the Mystery Woman Series of Movies.

Didn’t Peggy Lipton die of the same disease?

He also perfectly played a brain damaged gangster in an episode of Miami Vice.

If anyone is fishing around for entertaining, inspiring though ‘light’ reading, I reccommend a book by Peggy Lipton’s ex husband aka Quincy Jones.
The Autobiography of Quincy Jones.
Quincy has had an amazing life and influenced so many top tier American musicians.

He played a hell of a devil in Tales from the Hood. Thug wannabes should watch it.
