1968. Similar to today except back then the cops were allowed to bust rioter’s heads.
Today the cops literally stand by and watch violent felonies taking place right in front of them. Even when they burn down their police stations! Back then they’d break out the oak night sticks and bring out the dogs.
What we have today is an utter nightmare compared to what things were like in the 60s and 70s.
