I mentioned on another thread how bad Fox News is, and wouldn’t it be nice if Free Republic had its own TV channel. So here’s the question, just for fun: Who would you put in the lineup?

I’ll start by saying I’d put Mark Steyn in Wallace’s old position. Steyn would be a hoot, but he wouldn’t take any double-talking nonsense from any liberal.

There used to be a time when Freeper would meet locally. Especially in these days of crisis it would be nice to have a connection if the forces shut down sites or internet goes down.

Exactly. The beauty of FR is you have so many different sources, and so many different opinions. I can skip over when my eyes glaze over. That couldn’t happen with a show.

It could work if there were hundreds of different channels, each with its own POV. But that is what we have now

I'm totally sure pundits, politicians and "journalists" read this site all the time as they've repeated observations only posted here shortly after they go on line. Heard my own twice, which made me aware of this. But no one ever even acknowledges Free Republic exists.

There's keeping ones head low in a shooting war but FR needs to start getting credit where it's due. So one television show a week starting with a half hour on One America or even Fox would be a good thing. I want to see what Laz would hit!
