No. Many vaccines use only a certain identifying feature of the the target virus (called an epitope) - just enough for the immune system to recognize, but without all the rest of the virus (such as its ability to replicate).
These epitopes can be spliced onto common harmless viruses as carriers (like the Russian Sputnik V, the AstraZeneca or the Chinese COVID-19 vaccines).
The mRNA vaccines instruct ribosomes to produce just the desired epitope - fresh perfect copies, not degraded in storage or handling, and free of other viral components, that might have unwanted or unknown effects. Whole virus vaccines (especially whole coronavirus vaccines) can have lots of side effects, triggered by other features of the virus, not needed to develop effective immunity. That is an inherent safety advantage of the mRNA vaccine approach, over the use of whole virus.
The mRNA vaccines are like blueprints or work orders to the ribosomes (the factories within cells). While the mRNA vaccines are circulating (half life ten hours), the ribosomes will produce an epitope of COVID-19 (a snippet off the head of the spike protein, that COVID uses to attach, like a key into a lock).
After the mRNA vaccine itself (rather quickly) degrades away, the ribosomes stop producing the epitope off the spike protein head, but those spike proteins produced circulate until they themselves are degraded a bit more slowly, while the immune system learns to recognize them.

Many vaccines use only a certain identifying feature of the the target virus……For us non-scientist laymen, they took the “target virus”, watered it down and Injected it in your upper arm.
I keep it simple.
Whatever they put in you allows your bodies natural response mechanisms to defeat the virus.
If this virus were as “deadly”’as so many are WANTING it to be, they’d be scooping up the bodies with front end loaders.
There wouldn’t be one surviving worker in Home Depot, Lowes, or any supermarket in the country.
Given the fact that this is the deadliest virus on the planet, one where over 99% of the people who get will overcome it, most with no medical intervention…either prescription or OTC…..one where quite a few don’t even know they have it or had it, then I guess there’s no need to get medical treatment for HIV, HepC, Ebola, etc etc etc, because none of them are as deadly as Covid.
A virus, that allows you to test positive, quarantine for 2 weeks with no follow up visits required, and then continue with your life when you start feeling better.
As someone who has absolutely no intention of getting any vaccine for a virus that has a 99.5%, where Congress has exempted all the companies from many liability, I think folks need to slow down, just MHO.
Hasn’t it been reported that after less than 100 deaths, the swine flu vaccine was pulled, yet we’re creeping on 5000 deaths from the “vaccines” and, as Chip Diller in Animal House once said, Remain Calm, All Is Well.

IN order to hide mRNA from cellular proteins which would chew it up, the jabs use pseudouracil -- a modified form of the natural nucleotide.
And they they code for a slightly different version of the spike protein, something to do with how it binds with ACE2 receptors compared to the real virus spike, but I'm too lazy at the moment to look it up.
And I'm glad to see you finally admitting free spike proteins circulate in the blood. If my languid back-of-the-envelope unit conversions are right, that Harvard study on spike protein in the blood after the jab, shows on the order of a billion spike protein molecules per milliliter of blood, 24 hours after the jab.
