Former President Donald Trump on Saturday pushed Republicans to support candidates who are loyal to him in next year’s midterm elections as the former president launched a new more active phase of his post presidency at the Greenville convention center in North Carolina.
Trump announced his endorsement of loyalist Rep. Ted Budd in the crowded Republican primary.
Budd gets the nod from President Trump.
Seriously? Being President Trump’s daughter-in-law makes one a viable candidate for the Senate? Not in my book.
I could be wrong but Ted Budd is not strong enough of a personality to win North Carolina. This isn’t Oklahoma. He might luck out though because 2022 may be a “wave” year (similar to 2010 and 1994 for Republicans).
Ted Budd has the Trump personality to propel him.
The Swampland crowd wants someone else I guess.
Why not run family members? Seems like everybody else stabs Trump in the back just when he was counting on their support the most.
Yeah, Ryan endorsed the other guy.
Anybody who wants to can toss their hat in the ring - but I don’t need to take them seriously just because their last name is Trump.
Little does Ryan know whoever he endorses is automatic vote for the other guy!

I would trust someone with the last name Trump a lot more than someone with just a hyphen R after their name. Mike Pence was one such. His last name wasn’t Trump but he did have the revered hyphen R after his name. The man supposed to be Trump’s most loyal and trustworthy ally in government. And then he sabotaged and sank the Trump presidency.

Seriously? She has been active in building the America First coalition across this country. How about look at the person and her accomplishments instead of hating on the Trump name! What a disgusting comment!
But he is her Dad in law and that can be a lot like a Dad.
She is awesome and fighting to save this country! Pray for her and love her!
She worked on her FIL’s campaigns - doesn’t qualify her for the Senate.
