A former member of the University of Oklahoma volleyball team is suing the school and her former coaches, alleging she faced discrimination after she publicly shared her conservative political views.
The Oklahoman reported Thursday that Kylee McLaughlin, 22, left the team this past season after she was forced to redshirt.
The former standout said that sharing her political views, which contrasted with those of her teammates and coaches, resulted in her being discriminated against and ultimately being forced to transfer to the University of Mississippi.

That pesky thing, the US Constitution, that the Left hates so much but loves to hide behind when it's convenient for them, has the chance to bite them right in the a$$.
Universities are wildly expensive indoctrination centers.
It’s way past time for a new paradigm for learning.
It is time for the rise of the “Cancel Back” culture.
Yes, and I think Americans are fed up with the whole thing.
Under statement of the year.
IOW, cancel culture has worn out its welcome.
go for $28 million- $1 mill more than floyd’s family got for their drug overdose son killing himself on massive overdose of a couple of drugs-
“It’s way past time for a new paradigm for learning.”
Actually, it’s here now. It used to be that an engineering degree was all you needed for almost any technical job. If you had that degree, you had most, if not all the skills needed for a wide variety of jobs. Now, if you want to apply for, say, a quality engineer’s job, you’ll need an up-to-date certificate from a private organization, in this case, the American Society of Quality Control. That means you took the ASQC courses, which are college level, and, you passed the ASQC exams. You will also need to take continuing education courses every year, and pay the ASQC a pretty heft amount. I don’t remember what it is off hand, but between the courses and the continuing education you’ll be a couple of grand lighter.
Several of the top top tech firms have announced you’ll need to go to THEIR college, which is run by and taught by their employees. And, the curriculum will be aimed at what they need. You’re not going to need history, English or basket weaving.
If you want to be a project engineer, you’ll need a certificate from PMP, Project Management Professional. Like ASQC, it’s going to cost you.
These certificates will eventually be instead of a college degree and they will continue to go up in price as they take over what used to be the exclusive territory of colleges. Colleges have screwed themselves by going political, diluting the curriculum with pure bunk, and overcharging. I look forward to the day they all go bankrupt.
<< In her lawsuit, the senior from Carrollton, Texas, said she and her teammates watched the 2016 Netflix documentary “13th” at the direction of coaches. Netflix described it as a “thought-provoking” film in which “scholars, activists and politicians analyze the criminalization of African Americans and the U.S. prison boom.” >>
Not much to analyze. Black males between the ages of 15 and 40, despite comprising only 2% to 3% of the American population, commit nearly 50% of all the violent crimes, and are therefore incarcerated at much higher rates and numbers than any other demo. This fact may be uncomfortable for libs, but it’s not complicated.
I dearly hope she gets rich off of this...
Where did they get that awful “music” for the video? Why would anyone choose it?
Hmmm...
It's good to have a little humor and/or fantasy introduced to the thread...
America wasn’t nearly as racist as BLM and Cancel Back or any of these groups claim.
I used to be live and let live but all this hooey has caused a 180.
LOL. I am generally good natured so I won’t take offense.
But it would be great if it were true.
I suppose too many people are busy watching Netflix to care.
Now, she won’t get beat up by transvestites like the other players.
The others are just too stupid to learn, that’s all.
She is not asking for much in damages. Maybe that is all her attorney thinks they can claim, but damages need to be crippling large and against individuals to stop this madness.
Make the coaches pay personally.
It’s gonna be interesting to see how far up the management chain this went in the University athletic department, and whether or not anyone consulted with the legal department.
I hope to see this young lady on Tucker’s show next week.
They’re projecting.
