It really bothers me that the rainbow has been hijacked to mean this. I do mosaics and would like to do a rainbow, but it’s interpretation would be immediately viewed as something to do with gay pride.
In the ‘70s when I was in my wonder years, the rainbow meant exactly that.

You are correct. They hijack that which is innocent and pure to confuse the young and impressionable. No wonder God calls them abominable.
