Abbigail Bugenske won a million dollars after getting Vaccinated, and Joseph Costello earned a college scholarship, according to the Vax-A-Million program’s website. Bugenske currently works as an engineer in Silverton, and was overwhelmed by the financial shot in the arm, and tight-lipped after Wednesday’s drawing.
Bugenske got vaccinated before the sweepstakes was announced and wants to encourage others to do the same, her mother told the local station. Joseph Costello, 14, posed with Mike DeWine after winning free tuition at any state university.
“Congrats, Joseph! You just won a full-ride college scholarship! If you’re between 12 and 17 years-old and had at least one dose of the vaccine, you could be next!,” the Republican tweeted.
The Buckeye State is still giving out $4 million in prizes, and will announce the next winners on Memorial Day. Nearly 2.8 million residents have already entered the drawing and gotten immunized, health officials said.
“We’re excited that this has inspired so many Ohioans to get vaccinated, and we’re thrilled to announce the winners of the first round of drawings,” DeWine said in a press release.
After Ohio introduced its lottery program, New York followed suit with its own $5 million vaccine lottery sweepstakes, called “Vax and Scratch.”
In my experience, these type of “incentives” typically go to the families, friends, and contributors of political campaigns
Great association. Now I visualize stepping into the local bodega and seeing scratch tickets on a roll, those little hot dogs rolling endlessly for who knows how long under a heat lamp, and behind the checkout counter along with the packs of cigarettes are vax shots for Moderna, J&J, and Pfizer.
If only you could have gotten to Abbigail Bugenske and convinced her not to get vaccinated, we would have had a different story. Poor Abbigail. 😿
I wonder if she is going to be able to use any of that scholarship money to pay for the possible health issues she may end up getting because of the jab?
These "lotteries" for those who took vaccines experimental treatments are RIGGED. Does anyone really believe the government would select a winner at random and inadvertently select one who had died from complications of the experimental treatment they took?

My neurologist is in autoimmune research at UCLA MED Center, I have an autoimmune condition he told me under no circumstances to take this vaccine they do not have enough data on how this vaccine will affect the immune system on people with autoimmune problems!! He has put ALL of his patients on D3, C, NAC, Quercetin, and Zinc he has not had ONE single patient infected with the virus to this day!! He has one big fear with this vaccine and that is autoimmune disorders in people in the future!!
Been taking Ivermectin for the last two weeks. Church had an infection so taking it for preventative.
