NEWSFLASH: I've been drinking and smoking (10 yr break) since my teens. I'm 71 and can run circles around many 40 year olds. Why? Exercise, lean meats, yogurt, and low index fruits/veggies. I drink a pint of rum a night and get up and on my treadmill the following day. Exercise that makes you breath hard is everything!
Also it's false that the egg whites have all the protein. In fact, there is more protein per gram of egg yolk than in egg whites. Granted there is more of the egg white in an egg but you would be missing out on about half the protein if you did not also eat the yolk.
