Body builders drink egg white, without yolk. Whites are protein, yolks have the cholesterol.

Yes, I know about whites. Yolks also have major protein and other nutrients that whites don't. My Grand-Mother ate full eggs every day of her life and lived almost 100 years.

Nutritionists, Doctors, Therapists, Scientists change their minds about what's healthy every decade. How many times has the food pyramid changed?

NEWSFLASH: I've been drinking and smoking (10 yr break) since my teens. I'm 71 and can run circles around many 40 year olds. Why? Exercise, lean meats, yogurt, and low index fruits/veggies. I drink a pint of rum a night and get up and on my treadmill the following day. Exercise that makes you breath hard is everything!

You should know that dietary cholesterol has no effect on your body cholesterol. In fact, in the absence of dietary cholesterol, your body will manufacture it's own and not necessary the good kind.

Also it's false that the egg whites have all the protein. In fact, there is more protein per gram of egg yolk than in egg whites. Granted there is more of the egg white in an egg but you would be missing out on about half the protein if you did not also eat the yolk.
