This is a hideous list, who paid them off?
Maybe the Chilean Farmed Salmon Association? :-)
“Chilean Farmed Salmon Another great way to get your protein is through fish, specifically Chilean farmed salmon.”
Yeah, the product placement promos are numerous.
And farmed salmon (gross) does NOT help oneโs omega 3s, only wild salmon.
Not a very good list. And while I like an occasional bowl of oatmeal, unless you are taking cod liver oil, and vitamin K2, and plenty of Vitamin C, oatmeal is known to contribute to cavities.
An omelette made with eggs from free range chickens would be a better choice.
Farmed fish - most nutrition articles I’ve read warn against it and advise Wild Caught Salmon.
Canned beans - wrong again - Beans need to be soaked overnight to get rid of the acid that interferes with utilization of the nutrients. Commercial canneries do not do that.
Liver - from free range chickens or beef liver should be eaten once a week - It’s a nutrient dense superfood - Beef liver has protein, vital for maintaining the lining of the digestive tract (itself a muscle). But beyond that, it has three amazing nutrients that boost the immune system to prevent colds and other common infections - vitamin C, vitamin A and zinc.
A good bone in beef roast with potatoes, carrots, etc. is a great meal. And soup made from a leftover deli chicken carcass or home baked roasted chicken is also great — cooked in a slow cooker all those bones give a healthy dose of collagen and the meat is easy to pick off for the soup.
