I just dont understand why finding out details and facts behind the evolution of the january 6 protest that spilled into the federal buildings is getting shot down by the republicans. Trump was cleared of being connected to any of that.
All true, but none of that would be revealed by this 1/6 commission as long as Ds make the rules for this investigation, which they do.

You wrongly assume that 1) its not a national media platform for grand leftist grand-standing and 2) that “all facts” will be presented and shown equally.

I agree with you. I’ve said before that the proposal for an investigation was a bluff and the republicans were too wimpy to call the bluff.
I understand your point but, there is no intention of finding anything about the truth with these treasonous bastards.
There should be a mustering of militia troops going on too but, there is not.
There is nothing really left to die for anyway.
We gave it all away.
We should concentrate on collapsing the federal government now.

Unless we find enough people to muster a big militia that would likely end up fighting federal troops we won’t go back.
