Would someone please explain why an investigation into the facts surrounding the January 6 "insurrection" is a bad thing for the conservative right agenda?

I just dont understand why finding out details and facts behind the evolution of the january 6 protest that spilled into the federal buildings is getting shot down by the republicans. Trump was cleared of being connected to any of that.

It will be interesting to see just how many Trump MAGA rallies will be allowed.
They want him dead or arrested.
Certainly will only happen in some so-called red states.

Because the “facts” of said investigation have already been predetermined. A fake investigation will then be used for information warfare as a way to “validate” those predetermined “facts”.
