A judge has ruled in favor of Alan Dershowitz and ordered the famed civil liberties attorney's $300 million lawsuit against CNN to move forward. Professor Dershowitz won a procedural victory in court that will allow his massive lawsuit to proceed to depositions.

The lawsuit alleges that CNN deceptively edited comments from Dershowitz about President Donald Trump’s impeachment case.The “news” network is accused of altering remarks from Dershowitz, who served on Trump’s legal team, about whether he could have been impeached if he committed an illegal act that he believed was in the public interest.
I wonder if Dershowitz is successful how much of $300m would be part of a settlement and whether it affects CNN’s bottom line. I’m for anything that destroys CNN. I will even back BLM and Antifa if they burn and loot CNN’s headquarters in Hotanta. (written tongue in cheek).

Dershowitz would have to show how he himself was damaged from this. Seems to me it was Trump instead. I guess he could say his reputation was damaged.
(Um, CNN altered his quote to say exactly opposite of what he meant.)
