t’s useful to examine why these three men have become so important in the last five years.
Five years ago, no one would mention Tim Tebow, Donald Trump, and Ron DeSantis in the same paragraph. What did a former NFL, wannabe baseball player, a celebrity billionaire, and a former JAG officer have in common? But today, when Tebow, Trump, and DeSantis are mentioned in the same sentence everyone immediately gets what’s going on. Leftists hate these men because they represent America’s constitutionalist conservatives. And, in part, Patriots love them because of their enemies.
One of the strangest things in the last decade is how much sport’s writers and on-air personalities loath Tebow. They mock Tebow whenever they can. When he recently signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the pitchforks came out again.
Why? Well, he’s a devout evangelical Christian...full stop. That’s enough right there. The woke Progressive Party and its minions live to hate Christian culture, and Tebow is one of the leaders in the Christian community.
We all know what would happen if sports journalists went after LeBron James, China’s surrogate, or Colin Kaepernick, BLM’s mouthpiece, the same way they go after Tebow. They would be fired instantly and there would be a federal congressional hearing on “Hatred in Sports.”
Meanwhile, Sports Center devotes entire segments to attacking Tim Tebow. It is the most obvious example of hypocrisy and double standards in sports journalism. In the face of these endless attacks, many Floridians and University of Florida Gator fans, along with even some Hurricane and Seminole fans, would love for Tebow to run for the U.S. Senate.

Being a native Floridian and a UF grad, what is there not to like?
“Senator Tebow” has a nice ring to it.
I really like Tebow, but he’s not exactly a Rhodes scholar.
His degree is in Family Planning or something like that.
Family, youth and community sciences.
Whatever the heck THAT is.
A football major.
I wish Tebow all the best with the Jags!
“I really like Tebow, but he’s not exactly a Rhodes scholar.”
He seems like a good Christian man, worthy of being a role model to children. IMHO
I agree. I think he should do sportscasting as a job, and he could do a ton in any community he goes to.(He’s from the Jax area)
He could definitely put a smile on kids faces.
Whatever it is, it will be unique and probably unrelated to his college major.
Don’t get me wrong.
I like the guy.
But dang, I hate degree programs like that.
Same here.
There are plenty of genuine Rhodes Scholars that are hardcore Leftists and have less common sense than a jackass. Tebow has plenty of brain power for bigger and better things.
Our government is full of people with College degrees and most of them have zero common sense and have really screwed this country over. Tebow has his head screwed on tight and would be a better Senator than 95% of the Jack asses we have now.
I see what you did there.
Real Rhodes Scholars: Bill Clinton, Susan Rice, George Stephanopoulos, Cory Brooker, Pete Buttigieg, Wesley Clark, David Souter, Russ Feingold, Benjamin Jealous, Eric Garcetti, Bill Bradley, E.J. Dionne . . .
Liberals all, successful at politics all.
Tebow should just do positive things in the community.
He would change absolutely nothing in DC.
His degree is in Family Planning or something like that.
If Tebow's IQ is only 115, it will still be 20% higher than the average collective senate IQ.
Between dick durbin, leaky leahy, pocohantas, the Vietnam War Hero and his pal murphy from CT they don't have a TOTAL COLLECTIVE OF 100 POINTS.
Look at the pubbies.
Other than a hand full, most are good at spouting platitudes, but have ZERO understanding of most major issues.
Ya don't have to be a genius to be a senator.
"I'm a US Senator, for chris' sake"...Exactly.
That movie ended the way old time westerns, ended.
Bad guys dead, good guy and his gal ride off into the sunset.
Its what would set him up to do the charitable work he and his family had long done. That degree was perfectly suited to his ambitions.
As for the rival slander about him not being very bright which I’m sorry to see one of my fellow Gators repeat, its based on the fact that he got an 890 SAT score. What rival fans never mentioned was that he got that score as a 15 year old and never took the SAT again. He didn’t need to. It was a qualifying score and given his athletic ability, it was obvious he was going to be recruited by every Division I school in America. He didn’t need a higher score. I don’t know about anybody else, but my SAT score improved 150 points between my Junior and Senior years of High School. No telling how much more it would have improved if I had taken it my Sophomore year and compared that score to my Senior year SAT score. There’s no evidence to support the claim that Tim is less than bright. He was an academic honors student at UF.
