They never back off. They just keep going.
None of this matters to Dems. The vast majority will always pull the lever for D’s. Unions, abortion, gun control...that is what they vote for. They don’t care about transgender crap and critical race theory. They see the candidate is pro-choice and that’s all that matters.
The problem is woke is the one of the inevitable steps of liberalism. Centralization of power always moves toward eliminating any opposition. There is no “too far”. Eventually everybody is placed on the elimination list.
