So what does anyone else think about Watson’s take on this?
This is fascinating.
Never seen anyone take a neither/nor position on this, ever, and wanted to knkw what others think and if they have ever seen anyone else neither/nor on this.
If it weren't for Middle East oil and the Suez Canal, I suspect the U.S. would have considered that entire region about as irrelevant as Africa in terms of our national interests.
Also, he points up the fact that Mossad is not always our friend and certainly doesn't trust our government. I imagine we're spying on them as well... or at least I hope so.
He also hints at the Christian Zionists who are being played for suckers by Israelis: they support Israel because they hope some day the Jews will rebuild the Temple so that Armageddon can begin. Meanwhile, the Jews do not believe in Revelation and just take the money and do with it what they will.
He's right in that if you don't fully support Israel and put as positive a spin on everything as possible that Israel does then you are considered an anti-Semite, especially on Free Republic. For example, if you bring up the Mossad connections to the Maxwells and Epstein then you will be deluged with non sequiturs regarding how Mossad killed this or that terrorist or blew up this or that Iranian installation. Good job Mossad, but stop violating American sovereignty.
Also, look into the U.S.S. Liberty incident. Israel doesn't come out of that smelling like a rose.
