What I’d like is to have a USB stick that you’d need to plug in the port to make your PC run; like a key of some sort.

That is for the Computer device/cable combo IIRC, some devices claim to be compliant but aren’t (China lies), but this is for independent chargers, If I read this correctly.............

I would not use the charger for anything else but the device it’s meant for. I have heard that some devices can’t handle the current..............

I may have misunderstood the article. I’m talking about the standard c type that the new phones have and how quickly they charge now. The fast charger slows down once it reaches 95% or something like that.
