Dr Fauci now says he's 'not convinced' COVID developed naturally and calls for a full investigation into 'what went on in China'

Dr Anthony Fauci questioned the origins of COVID-19 at a May 11 PolitiFact event

Asked if he's 'still confident it developed naturally', Fauci said: 'No, actually'

'I think we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we continue to find out to the best of our ability what happened,' he said

Fauci's comments came after he clashed with Sen Rand Paul on the topic at a Senate hearing earlier this month In front of the Senate Fauci said he could not rule out the possibility that COVID-19 leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology

On Thursday the White House renewed calls for an 'independent, transparent investigation' into the origins of the virus.

It followed a report from Republicans which found 'significant circumstantial evidence' of a lab leak.

Funny they are finally willing to talk about Wuhan. I think thats a fall-back position because they won’t want to talk about western complicity with Wuhan and the sharing of research. Wuhan, I believe, was not operating in a vacuum.

My guess: I think the virus was intentionally released (note: that doesn’t necessarily mean it was created in the lab) and they are telling this story because they want to avoid the implications of the real story ever being discovered. This cover story lets leaders act outraged and even possibly punish China in some way without actually having the war that such an intentional act merits. China (and possibly some shadowy figures from other nations) killed over three million people (and 600,000+ Americans) and all involved will be allowed to get off easy because it did what it was supposed to do and reverted things in the US back to normal with the right sort of people in charge.

All of this information has been out there for months (much since March/April 2020), but it’s only now that somehow the obvious explanation is being allowed to be spoken publicly.

I’d believe the November date simply because we have a live British civilian who was in the area at the time and contracted CCPVirus in - November - and was treated in hospital by the Chinese for several weeks. As he related in I think two interviews, about mid-last year iirc.
