It is not absurd. It's simple math.

40% fully vaccinated means 60% are not vaccinated. That's a majority of people haven't gotten the jab. People wanting to get the vaccine has slowed to a crawl.

And your phraseology "fully protected" is suspect. Protected from what? The WHO claims the vaccines do not stop the transmission of the virus and that you can still get the covid.

Unlike the OP, I was able to retrieve VAERS data quite easily. But so far the models I produce from it are questionable and not worthy of publication. There are some red flags, like the number of deaths, but it’s a full time job to integrate all the data and produce useful analysis for decision making.
