and what happens to all the people that work at Gas Stations ?
“and what happens to all the people that work at Gas Stations ?”
We don’t have gas stations. We have mini-marts with gas pumps. Already they are adding charging stations.
Still have to sell slurpees.
“and what happens to all the people that work at Gas Stations ?”
It’s been decades since drivers said “fill ‘er up”.
They'll still be there doing the same things they're doing now; make coffee, cook hot dogs, fill the nacho pots, restock shelves, sell lottery tickets, check IDs on tabacco beer sales. And say the charging station "not working" ...and ignore customer complaints.
;>)
All what people that work at gas stations? I know 4 gas stations in town that are 100% automated, pay at the pump with card or cash, somebody comes in every week or so to take the tills. Meanwhile I know 1 full service station that actually employs more that 1 person at a time.
Many are saying “Charge your car overnight in the garage”
Well you better have good FIRE INSURANCE! How many electric cars have caught on fire in the garage and burnt the house down? A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. The electric cars are prone to fire. Check it out!
I would advise learning a good trade like barrel making or buggy whip manufacturing.
If my power goes out can I charge it with a gas generator? What if you are in a traffic jam in the winter and you have to run the heat or does it come with a Mr Buddy propane heater? If you run out of power does AAA tow you home or the nearest charge station? I am not against EV, but you can’t legislate technology advancements. This technology is not there yet. Toyota said Hybrid is the bridge to the technology being viable. The American car companies are jumping in with both feet because they know Uncle Sugar will subsidize them.
What people? The gas station I go to has no humans on site. The guy who delivers the gas will still have a job, as there is a national shortage of truck drivers. The guy who services the pumps will retrain and will service the charging stations.
