Did I miss the part that said she was raped? The father could have been her age or even younger.
A customer at a baby back ribs joint tossed her newborn in the restroom trash. I can’t eat baby back ribs anymore.
The baby from the article is lucky the person she was handed to didn’t do something horrible. We have baby drop offs at fire stations and hospitals for a reason.
In Florida we Fire Stations, Churches, and hospitals. No questions asked.

Some states had to retroactively define the age limit because parents were dropping off tweeners and early teens.

A Catholic Church near me had a 150 year tradition of taking in newborns, who could be left in a “baby box” inside the vestibule. At one point in the early 20th century, they had an orphanage with 1000 children in it

As bad as that may be, there are certainly WORSE parents, such as the ones who keep the baby, only to send it public schools.
And many are known to kill their baby before birth.

That’s the problem with just scrolling through the replies and not actually reading them before making a reply. Not everyone is assuming that.
Thank God the child is not in a trash bin. Now if she is adopted, she has a chance for a very good life. Thank you mother for doing the right thing.
I don’t know how to comment upon this article (not enough info) other than to say, “Praise God the baby lived and is being cared for and that poor little mother was found and receiving care as well.”. B t every story has a happy ending. It is clear this one did not begin well, but I hope it ends well for everyone involved.

Then I guess the girl needs to go to hell along with nthe guy...right? Here something which may be news to you. Girls are and always have been as horny as guys but before the became as we see it today culture forbade them to do "it" before marriage or at least engagement. Back in the day girls who let a guy do that were branded pig, sluts and worse while the guys were branded as heroes. Today girls not only "hook up" whenever they want they are many times the aggressors. I'm old fashioned and was raised when you were so my feelings haven't changed. If there was no rape then it's the girls responsibility to stop it if she wants. If she doesn't then she has nothing to complain about and the guy certainly did nothing wrong if he himself is a minor.
But every story does not have a happy ending.....(auto correct...whatcha gonna do?).....
