Bingo! I was thinking of other things than those you mentioned. Maybe his strongest life’s mission was to avenge his father’s assassination and get the ultimate last word on his enemies, by accomplishing what his father wanted to do... dismantle secret societies, crush all their evil influences and activities.... but it was just too much for one man, he was not in the right position to do enough, and it frustrated him deeply. Then maybe... just maybe... his good friend Donald hinted something to him about the Plan, and enlisted his help and confidence. And maybe... just maybe... that “help” would require him to go deep underground. (Maybe even to such an extent... that he had to be believed to be dead!)

I’m thinking outside of the box. But Q did mention JFK Jr.’s plane crash. Somewhat odd that he didn’t refer to it as his “death”, though, isn’t it?

No...but he could have chosen not to answer the question. He probably got thousands of questions during that Q&A session. The JFK Jr stuff was really hot. I think he answered the question to squash what was becoming a major distraction.
