At no point has anyone claimed the vaccines are “perfect”.

95% efficacy is wonderful - and it far exceeds expectations - but it isn’t perfect.

95% efficacy is as good as it gets.

I so wish the vaccine would have been available to people under 65 in February. I’d have a 95% chance of not having two empty chairs for my Memorial Day pool party.

I remember reading that the vaccine was 95-98% effective in preventing COVID-19 when exposed, not that it was perfect.
