That’s a very dishonest way to selectively quote the study, and you start off right away with unnecessary and unwelcome personal attacks. Knock it off.

Here’s the full quote which explains what was done and the results achieved:

“Rhesus macaques receiving low or high doses of mRNA-1273 vaccine (10 or 100 μg, two injections 4 weeks apart) were then challenged with the virus via both the nose and the lungs a month after the second injection. Seven of eight vaccinated monkeys in both dosing groups had no detectable virus in the lungs two days afterwards, whereas viral RNA was found in lungs of all eight monkeys receiving placebo, according to Barney Graham, MD, PhD, of NIAID, and colleagues.

And all monkeys receiving the higher dose of vaccine had no detectable virus in their noses two days after the nasal challenge, compared with three of eight in the low-dose group and two of eight receiving placebo”

Sod off troll.

The personal attacks are both necessary (because you are a propagandist and troll) and welcome to almost everyone else on the thread (for the same reason).

The first point is that the total count of monkeys is too low to give meaningful statistics.

The second point is that the BigPharma companies have a long history of lying and falsifying things.

How do we know the details of the viral challenge in the experimental and control groups were the same? Or that the detection method was accurate (For example, one popular detection method, PCR, was never meant to be used as a diagnostic, as the Nobel laureate who invented it reminded people.)

And, note that the LOW-DOSE jab, had a higher percentage of virus in their lung compared to the placebo. What is the threshold concentration used for detection, and what is the standard incubation period for the virus? Longer than two days?
(OK, mean and 95% interval if you prefer).

...and speaking of threshold, what is the average RNA concentration in the lungs signifying symptomatic infection?

ondon (CNN Business)Covid-19 vaccineshave created at least nine new billionaires after shares in companies producing the shots soared.

Topping the list of new billionaires are Moderna(MRNA) CEO Stéphane Bancel and Ugur Sahin, the CEO of BioNTech (BNTX), which has produced a vaccine with Pfizer (PFE). Both CEOs are now worth around $4 billion, according to an analysis by the People’s Vaccine Alliance, a campaign group that includes Oxfam, UNAIDS, Global Justice Now and Amnesty International.

Senior executives from China’s CanSino Biologics and early investors in Moderna have also become billionaires on paper as shares skyrocketed, partly in expectation of profits earned from Covid vaccines, which also bode well for the companies’ future prospects. The analysis was compiled using data from the Forbes Rich List. Moderna’s share price has gained more than 700% since February 2020, while BioNTech has surged 600%. CanSino Biologics’ stock is up about 440% over the same period. The company’s single-dose Covid-19 vaccine was approved for use in China in February.
