And I was just told by the Physician's Assistant at my Gastroenterologist's office, that at 74, my chances of getting cancerous polyps is slim to none. My father had non-cancerous polyps removed twice. My youngest son, at 48 had to have two re-sections in 2019, followed by six months of chemo for cancerous polyps. The doctor who operated on him, told him the polyps were so big, that he wished my son had gone to him 10 years earlier, but then, they don't usually screen people for colon cancer at 38.

I'm scheduled for a gastroscopy and colonoscopy on June 24th. I'm lucky that my doctor will do both at the same time, as he only gets paid for one procedure.

I had a friend and c-worker that died of colon cancer at 39....................

It takes 10 yrs for polyp to become cancerous. I had 3 non cancerous removed.
