It always seemed pretty suspect to me-a market supported by faith in the greater fool and nothing else. I stayed out of it and will continue to. This is not a buying opportunity, it’s a learning opportunity.
It you had bought $10,000 worth of BTC exactly 5 years ago it would be worth over $800,000 today, even after the huge contraction.
It will likely continue to grow 200% every year, as it has every year since inception.
