Seems like you could rig a rope similar to the ones they recommend hanging food on when camping in bear country and put the feeder up high. If it’s that predictable, a small balloon full of toxic hot sauce stuck inside a piece of fruit might be in order.
I did that 4 years ago.
He grabbed the rope, pulled the hook and pulley setup out of the tree trunk and broke the feeder I’d bought for my mom.
It was 13 feet up and it still didn’t matter.
She hasn’t fed the birds for 2 years now as it’s too much trouble to keep fixing it so often.
