The Pentagon has confirmed that newly leaked footage, appearing to show an unidentified aerial object that was filmed as it entered the ocean, was obtained by US Navy personnel and is being examined by the Navy’s UAP Task Force.
The video was obtained by personnel aboard the USS Omaha, a United States Navy Independence-class littoral combat ship, during a 2019 incident that occurred off the California coast.

Why is it only the US military that is seeing and recording these?
—
Because they have not released their videos? I believe the Russians have released major footage - its just not played on your favorite TV station.
It’s “transmedium” because it’s a bug inside the sensor.
I said the 60's since I heard a military commentator say the other day that up until the 60's pilots, for example, could speak of what they saw without risking their careers.
The story going around was that the Robertson Panel (in the 1950's) put an end to open discussion of UFO's.
Geez! Even the UFOs are trannies now. The LGBTQRXYZ folks ruin everything.
To control the world, there must be a perpetual threat, either internal (pandemics), or external (aliens from space), to keep the people in fear and justify any draconian measures as “necessary for our protection”. The threat(s) must provide a constant and unpredictable stream of perceived danger, to turn the people in to sheep and keep them obedient.
It is still, and only, about power.
They always are, and always will be...
Actually, I was joking.
But having worked for years in the development of naval sensor systems, I fully understand that vastly differing requirements distinguish military from civilian products.
I also understand that for a number of valid reasons, systems as deployed in the fleet or field generally lag the overall state of the art by years. In that realm, upgrading isn’t as simple as going to the store to buy the latest iPhone.
Say what?
I remember an old maxim, "if you can't say something intelligent, at least say something consistent with the accepted narrative."
In other words, on a conservative forum say something conservative and on a liberal forum say something liberal.
I’m beginning to feel a setup here.
Can you play that at 78 speed please.
You’ve finally given me proof extraterrestrials do exist.
Care to explain that pile of nonsense you just belched out? Are you actually saying that being skeptical of an extremely unlikely story being pushed by the Pentagon, which is currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of the current administration and the left in general, is somehow unintelligent? Man, that Kool-aid must have been 80% Ever Clear...
Maybe government figures they got us believe in a fake pandemic so next up: aliens!
Get back in your house. Wear a protective covering.
In fact, this stuff is being dragged out of the Pentagon, not cheerfully released.
Furthermore, the Biden/Harris military is more concerned with diversity and extremism in the ranks than it is getting the facts out of UAP's.
Burp.
1984: “ All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the
Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives.”
Have you done ANY research on this? Or do you expect to be spoon fed the information? Because they have been significant sightings in all of the places you mention.
“But I’m surprised to not hear nor read about other nations encountering the same. No commentary from other givernments on these videos, either.”
Most countries probably always thought it was “the Americans,” if their militaries were even aware of them.
NATO countries probably just ignored them and didn’t want to rock the boat.
You guys win. That’s a great piece of equipment, able to video a fast moving blob at night. No civilian consumer equipment can do that. Yet, calling that blob an object, or even an alien spacecraft is a ridiculous stretch.
When the green new deal and the covid pandemic don’t work what do you turn to? Alien invasion.
Or my alternate theory is that its going to be hard to roll out med beds, quantum AI and some fancy new space propulsion system without a plausible explanation for where it came from.
