The Pentagon has confirmed that newly leaked footage, appearing to show an unidentified aerial object that was filmed as it entered the ocean, was obtained by US Navy personnel and is being examined by the Navy’s UAP Task Force.
The video was obtained by personnel aboard the USS Omaha, a United States Navy Independence-class littoral combat ship, during a 2019 incident that occurred off the California coast.

I have not dug around to find out. But I’m surprised to not hear nor read about other nations encountering the same. No commentary from other givernments on these videos, either. There’s serious doubt in my mind, for sure.
Anything moving through the sky that you can’t identify is technically a “UFO.”’ That doesn’t mean it’s an alien craft from outerspace. Just something that you can’t identify. Almost certainly terrestrial in origin, IMHO.
I’m not launching into ‘UFO excitement overdrive’ until there is some verifiable interaction between we Earthlings and THEM. We can play Peek-A-Boo light games till the intergalactic cows come home, but my life is not changed one whit because some people saw some lights.
I want meetings, pictures, stains, recorded voices, verified biopsies that these are not human beings as we know them to be.
Until then...whatever.
Plenty of things can fall into the ocean. Weather balloons, drones, experimental aircraft, and more. I’d be more impressed if something came OUT of the ocean and flew away.

Good point. Of course we don’t know anything about these “aliens” but the way these objects often dance and dart around erratically doesn’t give the impression of controlled intelligent fight.
