***what is that tower in the middle of the water? was this after a flood someplace?

It’s the church steeple for the town of Curon, Italy

Lake Taneycomo - Man made lake from White River located in Taney County Mo. Later Table Rock Dam was completed - and after 1958 that changed the water from warm to cold. Good for trout fishing - not for swimming.

Totally bad impact on Rockaway Beach which had been a great swimming and recreational place until then. Riot in around 1965 totally finished it off.

Lots of stuff like that happens around the world.
