I have noticed that, which is why I’m suspicious of doctors, GP’s in particular. They treat us like they don’t really care. For example, I’ve been wondering now how many people may have been cured of something minor but that created a major problem for them by simply getting their full complement of vitamin D year-round. It makes me think that the derps have infiltrated medical schools and are teaching chemical treatments exclusively.
There are many posters here who have known this for a long time and have pursued natural treatments and health initiatives for themselves and their families. I’m one of the lucky ones who hasn’t been sick enough yet to need chemicals and, thanks to the people here, I’ll probably research alternatives to pharmaceuticals at the first sign of trouble and avoid a doctor who only knows prescribe, prescribe, prescribe. They make me think they’re all being paid by big pharma.

Spot on, greeneyes. We have a friend who used to work in the pharmaceutical industry and he was always saying.. “Why would they cure you? They’d be out of business.” And this was in the early 90’s he was saying that.
It just made us stop and think. How can we stay as healthy as possible?
I think there are a lot of foods that cure. Don’t get me wrong I’m BAD.. I love ice cream. But my dad is going on 93 and still in good health because he doesn’t eat sugar. His wife is a mess but she won’t eat anything healthy. No fruit, no veggies.
I bought these weird books, the Medical Medium. I like his concept that food heals, but his ideas are too far out there for me.
Then I go back to that Q post about music being healing.
Oh and before I step off my soap box, I’ve talked about my sister and the pediatrician she works for. He really only wants ear infections. Something he can give an abx for and cure it. And I think many doctors are like that. They want easy, they want high blood pressure, here’s a pill, infections.. here’s an abx. Give them a difficult thyroid problem and their heads explode.
