She was a mom with kittens. She just wanted him to go away.
If she wanted to stalk and eat him, she would be invisible and take him out in a blink. Chances of that are one in 5 million.

“ why not take a firearm?”
I’d like to, but two reasons:
1. I don’t own one.
2. They’d throw me in jail in California if I defended myself (I split time between CA and Idaho).
I’m not saying they are good reasons.

I always carry either my Kimber 1911 .45 ACP or 6” Colt Trooper MK III .357mag, AND the AR-50 Beowulf .50 cal w/ 375gr HPs, whenever I go out into any wilderness.
