He had a bad reaction to the first shot, but went ahead and got the second shot, and the reaction was even worse.

I loved Eric Clampett’s “Unplugged” album where he and Ellie May played banjos out by the cement pond.

“I took the first jab of AZ and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days. I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one…,” Clapton wrote. “About six weeks later I was offered and took the second AZ shot, but with a little more knowledge of the dangers. Needless to say the reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again, (I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle.) But the propaganda said the vaccine was safe for everyone… *Severe* reactions to the first one for *ten* days and he actually took the second shot? He was allergic to the ingredients. You don't take things that you are allergic to. I think I'd be looking for another doctor if he was advised to go through with the second dose after his reaction to the first.

My mother had a very bad reaction to the first Pfizer shot. She had formerly been very active with an exercise routine that included walking miles a day. Within a few days she could not even make it to the bathroom without assistance. And said that she was in so much pain that she just wished that she could die. Nothing her doctors did for her seemed to help. She lost a lot of weight to the point that we thought she was going to die. She managed to get a little better for a while, but now she seems to be getting weaker again and talking nonsense part of the time.
Her doctors told her under no circumstances should she ever consider getting the second shot. I assume Clapton made some attempt to contact a doctor about his issues.
Clapton's physicians must be complete idiots if they recommended that he get the second shot.

After reading the article, my first thought was WHY did Eric take the SECOND shot after such a bad reaction to the first?

“my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning”
WOW!, he literally could have been SLOWHAND!
