A few of my German ancestors apparently fled to Canada, when the Brits surrendered in our Revolutionary War I.
Then, many of their descendants came back to America after we won the second war with the Brits. Some were referred to as moss backs or worse.

Yes, since he's been stripped of his "royal" title, he's just Harry now. His last name is really Battenberg. (King George V changed their last name to Windsor during WWI after public outrage at the Germans bombing a school as part of their city bombing raids).
So, Harry Battenberg, the German/Brit, has issues with an inalienable right identified in the U.S. Constitution. So did his ancestors which is why we threw them out of the country not once but twice. We also had to go back to Europe and fight in in not one but two world wars to clean up their mess.
