Lolz. For the last two-decades, these objects have been visually observed by scores of pilots, hundreds if not thousands of service men and women and have been electronically tracked by dozens of ships, some of which are the most sophisticated on the water. And you think - apparently - that the government possesses the power to keep this all secret...indefinitely?
The government is talking about it because too many credible, career officers have taken the largely unprecedented step of speaking about their experiences publicly. Simultaneous to this, some of the gun-camera and cockpit photography/videography (often taken with the pilot’s personal recording equipment) has been delivered to media outlets.
Nonsense. Please cite source for your claim that “thousands of service men and women” have observed these. We have seen a handful of poor quality FLIR videos released by the Navy, and a few claims, without supporting logs, that odd things appeared on radar.
This is a psyops campaign. Don’t forget that the U.S. Government did the same exact thing in the 1970s WRT the Stealth program...
