COVID is bad, but it isn’t nearly as bad as things like Ebola.

You’re right about this one. But Bill Gates didn’t create COVID-19. Anyway, Africa isn’t as densely populated as India or as old as the West. Time will tell.

Hardly. Pandemics are a natural reality, and Africa is woefully under-prepared to ward off a serious one.

Occam’s razor still notes that a viable summary remains: someone ate a diseased bat, and a lot of people will naturally die as a result. If anything, it’s surprising that Africa _hasn’t_ suffered the expected “Covid catastrophe” yet.

Predicting continued outbreaks of infectious disease in squalid and impoverished parts of the world is like predicting the rising of the sun.

I’m surprised this didn’t happen last year to Africa and India, given their overpopulation and third world s**tholery. Maybe it got lost among all of the Malaria, starvation, violence, etc.

Welp, apparently, those who advocate against over-population/population control are giddy and happy? /s

With the example of the states in India, and regions in Latin America that are using cheap, safe, and effective therapeutics, it may be hard for the authorities in the African nations to stick with the WHO “wait for the vaccine” strategy.

Can the truth be contained? We’re about to find out.

A lot of folks thought this was the goal of GRID, later renamed to AIDS.

Fun Fact: The Little Ice Age affected African nations much like it did Europe with the lower crop yields, harder to predict rains, and worse plagues. This is basically why most of the black kingdoms/nations changed their #1 export from crops to slaves.

Most of the slaves who died during transit did so before they left Africa because of the plagues. So plagues in Africa are nothing new. And the leaders have a history of handling them poorly.

Africa is a permanent, on-going catastrophe. Methinks the local dictator wants some more foreign aid and this is the warm-up.

Could Kenyan Camels Cause Next COVID-19 Pandemic?
Africa News ^ | 15/04 | Kizzi Asala

In the Kapiti Nature Reserve in southern Kenya, this dromedary is furiously undergoing a PCR test to detect a cousin of COVID-19, Mers, which could one day cause the next global pandemic.

Two metres high and weighing 300 kilos, the beast rumbles and struggles, restrained at the neck, muzzle and tail by three camel drivers, while the veterinarian in the blue coat hurriedly proceeds with the dreaded sampling.

“Taking a sample from the animal is difficult because you never know what can happen (...) if you do it wrong, it can be even worse because it can hit you, bite you,” explains Nelson Kipchirchir, a vet in Kapiti.

On this foggy morning, one of the camel drivers will not escape a violent kick from the hoof during the nasal and blood samples taken from a dozen of the 35 dromedaries of Kapiti.

The question, as in India, is why they didn’t get hit before, especially in densely populated places like Lagos and Kinshasa. Anyway, we have this thing called a vaccine now, so if they are going to get hit hard in the future, it’s fortunate timing for them.

If anyone wants to depopulate Africa, it’s the CCP. While COVID does appear to have a negative effect on male fertility, it’s going to take a bigger bug than SARS2 to depopulate a continent. I’m sure the CCP is working on it.
