Couple of days ago CEO of NCL was on CNBC. He said the demand for 2022 cruises is at record levels, bigger than any year before. And the prices are higher! But you are correct, how many Billions the cruise lines had to borrow just to avoid declaring bankruptcy.

IMHO the Cruise Line CEOs, presidents and other Cruise Line higher ups have no choice but to put the best spin on the cruise situation. Their creditors who have loaned them Billions depend on that.

If you notice all this Cruise happy talk is coming to fruition in the near future.
When the future arrives it gets pushed back.

A lot of years needed for the Cruise Lines to dig out of this hole .
