If K. Harris becomes President, the tie-breaking vote in the Senate is gone. Republican Senators can block any and all V.P. appointments until the election of 2022 with the argument, “let the people decide”. If Reps win the Senate, then the V.P. returns to its historic irrelevancy, if the dems win the Senate, same result. But it will require backbone in all Republican Senators.

And that is why Joe Biden keeps playing Stayin' Alive at full volume over and over. Dr.Jill is sick of it.

I don't think Biden will be gone until
1. DC becomes a state, bringing two more Dems to the Senate.
2. He has served a minimum of two years. That will allow Kamala to serve the remainder of his term and serve two additional full terms as President. (I personally don't think she would win even a single additional term, but I think they're delusional enough to think she can.) If Kamala completely embarrasses the Dems as President (which she will), the powers-behind-the-scenes will force her to step aside, thereby elevating her selected VP to become President.

Gone only until Harris picks her own VP, and then gets that pick confirmed by Congress.
