Can someone please explain how it’s possible for Republicans—Donald Trump in particular, or white people in general—to be responsible for Chicago’s horrendously dismal and unsafe conditions?

A truthful explanation of this is not possible. But the left, and particularly the news media in general, is pushing a Marxist agenda with little room for the truth.

The mayor is black.
The superintendent of police is black.
The Cook County state’s attorney is black.
The chief judge of Cook County circuit courts is black.
The Illinois attorney general is black.
The fire department commissioner is black.
The Cook County board president is black.
The state senate majority leader is black.
The lieutenant governor is black.
The secretary of state is black.
The clerk of the circuit court of Cook County is black.
The Cook County clerk is black.
The city treasurer is black.
The Chicago Police Board president is black.
The Chicago Transit Authority president is black.
The CEO of Chicago public schools is black.
The commissioner of the Department of Water Management is black.
Forty percent of the City Council belongs to the black caucus. Nine aldermen are socialists.
Their average pay is $122,304 annually each, plus $122,000 per year in expenses. Their pension for life is 80 percent of final pay.
There are zero Republicans on the Chicago City Council.
William Hale Thompson was the last Republican mayor of Chicago long ago, in 1931.
For 89 years, Democrats have completely controlled the mayor’s office.
The fiscal deficit in Chicago is more than $838.2 million and counting.

Again, racism is a learned behavior. The REAL question is why blacks experience more racism than other minorities in the US. The answer: Their behavior. Everyday we see evidence of how blacks have no control over their impulses. We see a 15 year old black kid riding a bike in NYC sucker punch an 80 year old white lady. We see a 15 year old black girl waving a gun at a Burger King worker because she didn't think her order was being made fast enough. We see a young black woman karate kick an elderly lady onto the tracks at a subway station. Indeed, blacks behave this way so often we often see "Do I need to look?" posted here.

Blacks have a problem and it is not because of White Supremacy. They have a problem in their culture and I don't see any effort on their part to solve it. It's always someone else's fault. Sorry, it is not...it's your fault and you need to start fixing it.

Sixty years ago, illegitimacy was about the same for blacks and whites. Now, 72% of all black children have no father present in the home. I think a contributing factor is that welfare pays more when it's a single-parent home. Why not do this: Pay more when both parents are present and are raising their children? As I've said before, being a father is easy, being a parent is not. Man up, guys, and start parenting all those kids you're bringing into this world. It's your responsibility, not mine. Maybe a father figure can teach some self-restraint and impulse control along the way.
