I am having a big problem in Outlook 365.
I installed Office 365 a month or so ago on a new laptop. It has worked great until today.
This past Sunday, I added a second email account. Everything was OK on Sunday. I didn't open Outlook yesterday.
Today, none of my messages will display the entire message content. Just a couple of lines, one of which tells me that if the content isn't displaying correctly, to click on the line to open a web browser.
When I do that, the browser opens and I can see the entire contents.
Any ideas what is wrong and what I need to do to coect this? Thank you.
Got the same issue today! Only first line of e-mail messages showing
Everybody is having the issue and nobody at MS has acknowledged or said they’re working on it.
There are TONS of complaints.
Reported to Microsoft, they say they are working on it.
Bttt.
5.56mm
It's Microsoft! That's what's wrong!
Thank you all!!!!
Get Thunderbird back, and dump the Outlook garbage.
Get Mozilla Thunderbird.
There’s a problem nationwide. Here’s the message our IT guy sent within the past 1/2 hour:
“Some of you may be experiencing issues with viewing emails in Outlook since about 10am today. This issue has been tracked by Microsoft and a fix looks to be rolling out shortly.
If you are experiencing this please use the webapp or mobile device for emails and try restarting your outlook over the next few hours.
Below is the current status update from Microsoft.
Thanks,
********
Title: Issue affecting viewing email content in Outlook
User Impact: Users may be unable to view email message content within Outlook.
More info: Impact is specific to the Outlook client and users with access to other protocols, such as Outlook on the web or the Outlook mobile app, can view message content in those platforms as a potential workaround while our fix is applied.
Current status: We’ve identified the underlying cause of impact and are applying a fix. This fix will reach all affected users incrementally over the course of the next four-to-five hours. Once users receive the fix, they will need to restart their email client to apply the fix. In some circumstances, users may need to restart their client a second time for the changes to take effect. We expect to complete this process and restore service for all affected users by May 12, 2021, at 3:00 AM UTC.”
