There was a time you'd could be executed for poaching the King or Queen's swans, or any other wildlife on royal land. There's still a Keeper of the Queen's Swans in England today.

What?
This whole thing is weird.
Weird that the article states the babies taken were recovered.
But no mention of arrest or who took them.
That would be the bigger story.
