I’m officing from home during these Covid days. My work # transfers to my cell.
I have no way to know if a call coming thru is work related or a scam.
Grr.
I recently got an email claiming to be from an old acquaintance I haven’t seen in at least fifteen years. He asked if I could buy a Visa gift card for his nephew’s birthday. My “friend” said he was out of town on business and was unable to purchase the card himself, but would pay me back when he was back in town. That might have been the most ridiculous scam I’ve ever come across. I can’t imagine anyone falling for it.
